Dentist Hal Huggins: Dental Great Exposes the Dangers of Mercury and Root Canals

In 1973 Hal Huggins blew the whistle on amalgam fillings. Dr. Huggins found that when mercury came out of fillings it caused leukemia. He was at first surprised at this finding, and went on to try to prove that mercury didn't come out of the tooth. Dr. Hal Huggins, being an expert in body chemistry analysis, analyzed the blood of patients who were receiving mercury fillings. To his surprise, he found that mercury fillings were indeed poisoning the body. He brought his findings to the American Dental Association, who then proceeded to try to run him out of business.

Dr. Hal A. Huggins DDS, MSc has both a Dentistry degree and a Master’s degree in Immunology, plus over 40 years of research and experience in Holistic Dentistry. Hal Huggins is an expert in blood chemistry and cellular chemistry. He looked at calcium, cholesterol, liver function tests and white blood cells. He found that blood cell counts changed all over the place from placing silver mercury fillings. He then devoted many years of his life spreading this information to the dental profession and the media.

Hal Huggins and many other researchers and dentists believe that mercury is poisonous; it shouldn't be in people. The Dental Association has not yet gone along with that. There is a good reason; according to Dr. Huggins, they own the patent on the "high copper" amalgam which puts out 50 times more mercury than the regular fillings. Billions and billions of dollars of lawsuits would result if the ADA admitted that mercury fillings were toxic to people.

Conventional amalgam fillings contained about 3% copper. The Dental Association created a higher copper amalgam due to Hal Huggins' concern about mercury in amalgams. This modern filling is still considered state of the art.

Dr. Huggins said that in 1988 he learned that one microgram of mercury can kill a person and that one atom of mercury can kill one cell a person's body. Mercury in the blood is methyl mercury on the red blood cell.

Summary of Hal Huggins Findings on Dental Fillings and Electrical Currents

Fillings have electricity about 1000 times higher than the electricity the brain works on. The brain doesn't like that. You have heard of Multiple Sclerosis. When fillings have a negative electrical current, you can measure it. If you take fillings out, the brain lesions leave. Over 1000 MS patients had an 85% recovery rate from MS by balancing the chemistry and giving the body the right raw materials.

For 63% of people removing fillings at random can cause new health problems. When you remove the filling, the body doesn't get better. What you have to do is get the mercury going out faster than it is going in.

Hal Huggins on Toxins in Dental Fillings

Band aids are preserved in mercury. Toilet paper is made from recycled paper. To make sure it's sterile, it is mixed with mercury. Mercury comes out of fillings at about the same speed no matter how old the fillings are. About 32 micrograms per filling. Ten fillings is approximately 300 micrograms per day going into your body.

Porcelain Gold Onlays and Crowns - Porcelain is another name for aluminum oxide. Aluminum is another toxic metal. The real porcelain ceramic is fired at 1500 degrees. Huggins has found neurological damage in people with porcelain fillings.

Even with plastic fillings, 60% contain aluminum. The aluminum leeches out of the tooth fillings and causes neurological problems. Dr. Huggins has a blood test to determine how the fillings respond in people. Composite fillings also can contain acrylate, aluminum, formaldehyde, hexane, hydroquinone, phenol, polyurethane, silane, strontium, toluene and xylene. (Rami's note: In the future I will be doing more research on composite materials.)

True onlays are usually pretty safe.

Dr. Huggins tested 4,000 crowns. 98% of dental crowns have mercury in them. The dentist will build the tooth up with amalgam and then put a little gold on top. Dr. Huggins says one can test a gold crown for electrical current. If it is positive it is okay, and if it is negative, tooth decay.

Dr Hal Huggins on Root Canals

Anaerobic bacteria are living in root canals. 28% of the people have diphtheria bacteria in their root canals. This can lead to chronic fatigue. A root canal tooth is a breeding ground of bacteria. The slip through the surrounding ligament to the tooth. When bacteria multiply, they lay down a layer of calcium. A hard substance to protect against the irritation.

(Rami's note: just pulling out root canals may not be the best option. There are ways a holistic or well trained dentist can test for toxic effects from root canals.)

Miscellaneous Dental Information From Dentist Hal Huggins

Oral vitamin C prevents Novocain and anesthetic from working. So don't take vitamin C before your dental visit.

Braces have nickel. Chrome crowns disturb kids. They cause urinary tract infections and lower I.Q.

High nobel gold fillings mixed with platinum are one of the suggested materials that Dr. Huggins thinks is more compatible with the body.

Comments on Dental Implants and Extractions from Dentist Hal Huggins

A dental implant has a sick socket due to removing a sick tooth. According to Dr. Huggins, Alzheimers, more than anything else, comes from implants. Tooth extractions do not heal if you sit in a car for more than 3 miles after the extraction.

Almost 100% of wisdom teeth extractions don't heal properly. Inside, you find anaerobic bacteria. Dr. Huggins recommends bridges and removable partials over dental implants.

"ANYTHING IMPLANTED INTO BONE WILL CREATE AN AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE." according to one of dentist Hal Huggins' immunology professors.

Blood sugar is glucose. A good level of blood glucose, 85. Fruit affects blood sugar more than sugar, alcohol, and protein. How much fruit per day do you need to eat? Test the blood sugar, and remove fruit until the blood sugar is correct.

Dead teeth don't belong in a live body. The problem in the tooth is the ligament outside of the tooth as the dentine tubules will connect to the ligament.

According to Dr. Huggins, when you take fillings out properly in a woman, it causes a heavy period. There are many kinds of mercury, and the one that does the most damage is ionic mercury. Menstrual blood mercury is almost 2000 times higher in a mercury detox.

Antibiotics. Not was Dr. Huggins was taught in school. Antibiotics kill life. More than just the bacteria. The clinics where he worked throughout the world use very few antibiotics any more. When you kill bacteria you are left over with fragments of the bacteria. And they are many times more toxic than the original. (Rami's note: this implies that bacteria are capturing or digesting toxic substances already in the body.)
